The G8600 is a parallel genset controller with integral heater designed for complex paralleling applications. The G8600 can be configured to provide paralleling for up to 4,032 generators on a single site and provides a wide range of high-end features for multiple application environments. The module is configurable for use as a single-set controller, multi-set controller, mains (utility) controller or group controller.

Mains (Utility) Controller

The DSEG8660 is a ATS / Mains (Utility) controller with integral heater designed to work with the DSEG8600 that is configured for use as a multi-set controller. The DSEG8660 allows multiple generators to synchronise with a mains (utility) supply and controls switching power between generator and mains (utility) sources, without loss of supply to the load.

Bus-Tie Controller

The DSEG8680 Bus-Tie controller is designed to work with the DSEG8660 and DSEG8600 (configured for use as a multi-set controller, mains (utility) controller or group controller) to provide control solutions for complicated system design. The DSEG8680 is configurable for use as a bus-tie controller or load switch controller. This enables the controller to use the AMSC (Advanced Multi-Set Communications) link to synchronise two bus segments together within a DSEG8xxx system and allow them to operate in parallel.

DSESCADA 10” Display

Hardware
The DSEG810 is a 10” capacitive touchscreen DSE SCADA overview display designed for monitoring and controlling multiple applications. It runs on the reliable LINUX based operating system and is designed for use with the DSEG8-Series paralleling controller platform. When installed, the unit offers IP67 protection all round, and the powerful NXP i.MX 8 QuadXPlus processor ensures smooth operation. The unit is connected to DSEG8-Series controllers via Ethernet.

Software
DSE SCADA is a secure software platform that provides advanced multi-set monitoring & commissioning functionality for DSEG8-Series controllers. The stand-alone software is pre-loaded onto each device, which includes a full software license. The software can be configured to connect with individual / multiple generators on the same site. Users can gain a full system overview from any remote location with an Internet connection. The software provides multi-set commissioning.

7” Graphical Colour Remote Overview Display

The DSEG8007 is a 7” touch screen, full colour, graphical display providing the user with remote control and monitoring of an entire system. It has been designed to seamlessly integrate with the single-set and multi-set DSEG8600 modules, with configuration options suitable for a wide variety of applications. The DSEG8007 display screen design provides comprehensive large screen graphs, meters and numeric values to indicate engine, generator and mains (utility) status information in a clear and concise format.

DSE2160

DSENet® Input / Output Expansion Module

The DSE2160 DSENet® Input / Output Expansion Module has been developed for use with the DSEG8600 and DSEM-Series platforms. The DSE2160 extends the host modules input and output capabilities for increased application flexibility. This is achieved by providing an additional 8 inputs, consisting of 2 analogue inputs (both can be configured as digital) and 6 digital inputs (digital input A can be configured as a frequency input, pulse counter or RPM input). The DSE2160 also provides 8 additional digital outputs. All 8 outputs can be individually configured as a digital input, positive switching DC output or a negative switch DC output.

For enchanced communication with the host module, the DSE2160 features a DSENet® port for connection to the DSEG8600 platform and a CAN port for connection to the DSEM-Series platform. A red status LED is provided to easily identify when the DSE2160 is connected to a power source and communicating with the host controller.

DSE2170

DSENet® RTD / Thermocouple Input & Analogue Output Expansion Module

The DSE2170 RTD/Thermocouple Input and Analogue Output Expansion Module has been developed for use with the DSEG8600 platform and DSEM-Series platform. The DSE2170 extends the host modules input and output capabilities for increased application flexibility. This is achieved by providing an additional 4 RTD/thermocouple inputs (configurable as J Type, K Type, L Type, Pt100 or Pt1000) and 4 analogue outputs (configurable as 0 V to 10 V or 0 mA to 20 mA).

For enhanced communication with the host module, the DSE2170 features a DSENet® port for connection to the DSEG8600 platform and a CAN port for connection to the DSEM-Series platform. A red status LED is provided to easily identify when the DSE2170 is connected to a power source and communicating with the host controller.

15" Panel PC with DSE SCADA

The G8015 is a Windows based panel PC running DSE SCADA software and is designed for use with the G8 Series paralleling controller platform. The unit provides a 1920 x 1080 LED backlit capacitive touchscreen display. When mounted, the units offer IP66 protection and the powerful Intel processor ensures smooth operation. The unit is connected to DSE G8 Series controllers via Ethernet.

DSE Paralleling SCADA

DSESCADA is secure software that provides advanced multi-set monitoring & commissioning functionality. The stand-alone software is downloaded from the DSE website and installed onto a Windows based laptop/desktop machine. The software can be configured to connect with individual / multiple generators on the same site. Users are able to gain full system overviews from any remote location with an Internet connection.

The software provides multi-set commissioning functionality, which is unlocked by purchasing a multi-set commissioning license. Licenses are unique to each computer they are installed on. Multi-set commissioning allows users to configure generators independently or apply single settings to multiple generators at the same time.
