The DSE9130 5 Amp 12 Volt battery charger was chosen in a recent UK Leisure Boat project.  The application demanded that the boats be able to run off battery power whilst sailing, and when moored up, switch to using the mains electricity on the jetty to both charge the battery and provide power.This system allows boat users to moor up and leave the boat for shopping, dining or other excursions without worrying about a flat battery upon their return.
